Over 8,000 Rosary Rallies to Blanket America on Oct. 13

In town squares across America and in 35 foreign countries, members and volunteers of America Needs Fatima will hold a record-breaking 8,000 Public Square Rosary Rallies on October 13, 2012.
The rallies will celebrate the 95th anniversary of Mary's apparitions at Fatima, Portugal, and focus on the importance of prayer and conversion.
"The people I talk to are anxious about the future," remarked Robert Ritchie, executive director of America Needs Fatima.
"Our institutions are failing. The economy is sliding. Society is crumbling. We're seeing the effects of abortion, same-sex 'marriage,' pornography, euthanasia, moral indifference and terrorism,' Ritchie said.
"Trust in human solutions is fading. That's why people are turning to God and His Blessed Mother for courage and hope. The need for conversion, prayer and penance is more pressing today than it was in 1917 when Our Lady appeared to the three shepherd children, Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia."
In over 8,000 locations in the United States, rally captains are preparing for the 2012 Public Square Rosary Crusade, which will be held simultaneously on October 13, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM local time. Everyone is welcome to attend one of the events sponsored by The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) and its America Needs Fatima campaign.
Rosary rallies are also planned in 35 additional countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Denmark, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, Spain, and Venezuela.
"Prayer is our hope. And our society needs hope. The Blessed Mother gave us the Rosary at Fatima as a sign of hope and courage to fight on. She can solve our apparently unsolvable problems," said Mr. Ritchie. "Over 8,000 Public Square Rosary Rallies give hope and direction to our troubled society."
